With the Casino Tourbillon, Jacob & Co. stage a theatrical intersection of mechanical mastery and the thrill of chance. Inspired by the heyday of jet-set gambling in Monte Carlo and Las Vegas, this 44mm 18K rose gold timepiece transforms your wrist into a private roulette table. Beneath a domed sapphire crystal, the central dial is crafted from black aventurine, a glistening canvas interrupted only by kite-cut rose gold hour markers. But the drama lies in the roulette ring that encircles it—37 hand-lacquered pockets and a mechanical roulette complication, launched via a discreet pusher at seven o’clock. The ball spins fast, guided by ultra-efficient ball bearings, before falling into a random slot. In a rare design move, the flying tourbillon is tucked away on the reverse side. Viewed through a sapphire caseback, its carriage mimics the roulette motif with the letters “Jacob & Co.” rotating through colour-coded pockets.
